55555 Great Product

The only thing about Abyss that I do not care for is the lack of automatically controlling my IP address in my router. Otherwise this is a great product, and power outages are the only thing that changes your initial IP at the router. Used with the no-ip.info service is excellent.

55555 GREAT!!!

Abyss web server is a great server compared to other web servers. It has a user-friendly console, instead of(like in apache)editing the config file and has many other great features!

Abyss Web Server is an easy to use server and is very reliable, however, it lacks one major function "Failure to handle more that on web site (domain name)". Aprelium Technologies has done a great job here. The only thing that I ask of them is develop a multiple domain version of Abyss.

If you use Abyss and are hosting multiple web sites you will have to create a single Index.htm file that directs traffic (by the old point and click method) to the respective site. For example: If you are running www.myweb1.com and www.myweb2.com and www.myweb3.com, the index for all three have to be the same. Ususally a index page that says "Which Site Are You Looking For?" and a list of hyperlink choices for the 3 sites.
